Daigoro sighed.

"I'm no Ishvallan. My eyes are just naturally red. I thought there were other people with red eyes other than the Ishvallans. I guess that it's just me..." Daigoro said, suddenly realising why people constantly made insults towards him.

Revel giggled lightly and poked him gently on the nose, "Well it suits you well! It matches your hair, a very complimentary color if I do say so myself."

Daigoro laughed. His hair did match his eyes quite well, if he did say so himself.

"Thanks, I guess. I've always seen the skin and eyes of an Ishvallan matching each other well..."

Revel sighed, "I wish I had the right color. Dad says I'm more of olive-toned than tan." She huffed, blowing a bang of hair out of her eyes.

Daigoro smiled.

"Be happy. At least you won't be instantly recognised as Ishvallan. That's a good thing, right?" He stood back up straighter.

Revel staggered to her feet, "Ow.. twisted my ankle." She sighed, "And I wish that were true, but unfortunately my red eyes seem to be the target."

Daigoro nodded, and pointed to his own.

"I know what you mean. It's happened to me many times. But I've lived through it..." He sighed, and held out his hand to Revel, offering himself as a crutch.

Daigoro nodded. He didn't understand everything that was going on here but her healing speed seemed to be simlar to his.

I wonder why... He ended up thinking to himself.

Daigoro smiled softly. It was a rare occurence, for him to smile, but this was a good time for it.

Revel blinked and looked all the more curious. She came up to a little above his shoulder, but her eyes were still glued on him as if his face would hint where they were going.
