She jumped alittle, Takegami's words slammed her back to reality.
"Oh yeah, dinner would be nice..."She said, her smile returning.

Takegami returned to his normal standing position and grabbed her hand.

"Shall we?"

She sensed that Takegami felted better and held onto his hand abit tighter.
"Yeah.."She said, nodding once.

Takegami walked her back to the road where a taxi sat waiting. He opened the door for her and smiled warmly.

"No more IV stand to make it harder to get into the car, no? Hahahaha!"

She blushed as she got into the car but laughed with him.
"I guess..."It feels nice.,..Even if it is for a day..

Takegami sat down in the car next to her, and snapped his fingers. The taxi driver took off down the cobble stone road, and he simply chuckled slightly.

"It dosen't have to be like that just for today. If you want to stay without the sickness, then just tell me, and i'll make sure that happens."

That's nice..Without sickness..But then she remembered the strain it put on Takegami to cure her for a day. It just isn't worth it..
"How many times so I have to tell you..I'm fine."I don't want to lose you.

Takegami shook his head, being able to tell she was lying when he noticed the expression on her face and her body composition.

"The only reason this much strain was put on me was because i used the ability to many times in one day. It'll only take me once to cure you for good, and i won't suffer heavy damage for using it once."

She shook her head and leaned on him, hoping that this gesture would quiet him.
"I don't want to.."

Takegami couldn't persuade the girl, and just simply gave up. He may not be able to convince her this go round, but he'd definately try again some other time.

"What happened?"

"Huh...What do you mean "What happened?""She looks up, hoping to find an answer in his eyes, her steel grey eyes looking back at him.

Takegami looked out the window, for his eyes were now red. They seemed to glint as he looked out at the, now, starry sky.

"Well, between us, what do you believe happened between us two?"

"Ah...."She tried to think, but she couldn't find and answer or solution to his question. In fact she wasn't even sure what the nature of their complex relationship was. Lovers? Friends..? Or something more..?"Well..What do you think..?

Takegami, who kept his eyes locked on the moon so he wouldn't look back, shook his head. He too could not make matter of the situation, but soon a happy thought came into his mind.

"What if... we were one big happy family?"

[Guest]

She became engulfed in thought. One big family huh..? Is he implying something..
"I think it'll be great..You know, just me cooking and cleaning, watching our children grow, that sort of thing...That'll be nice.."

Takegami sighed in disappointment, for he kneew, and she knew, that wasn't possible if she refused to be cured.

"Please, just give it up... i can cure you and things can be better..."

Her vision of loveliness disappeared when he asked her again, forevver irratating her.
"For god sakes, no! I refuse to be cured and you know why!"She ordered the taxi to stop and walked off into the night. Or at least attempted to.

Takegami hopped out of the taxi and ran after her, only to fail miserably. His eyes widened in pain and he coughed up blood onto the ground falling to his knees. He breathed heavily, trying to catch his breath, and forced himself to his feet, staggering towards Ilona.

She heard him fall and glanced back to see him cough up blood. She wanted to run to him, to hold him close but then...Instead she slowed her pace but couldn't stop her tears from overflowing.

Takegami struggled to make it anywhere close to Ilona, and quickly pushed aside the pain and ran. He grabbed her arm, and pulled her into him, accepting the pain that came along with her.

"Ilona... please... for my sake..."

[Guest]

His embrace unhinged her and she started crying uncontrollably. Not for herself but for him.
"Why..? Why are you so bent on curing me? Why?!"She shouted, looking up, her eyes filled with tears.

Takegami forced a smile, and mocked her by sounding angry.

"You already know why... because... i... i love you."

[Guest]

Those three words...She couldn't stop looking away but she didn't know what to do or how to respond. Her body and mind was in a total stand-still.

When Takegami said this, his azure eyes glistened in the moonlight, and his smile seemed to be sincere. He suddenly let go of her, and took a step back, feeling another aching pain coming towards this one. This aching pain seemed to strike him in a more crucial place...

She grabbed his shirt, not wanting to let him go. Damnit I wish I stopped crying..I hate these tears. Ilona then started to wipe her tears away.
"Please don't go.."
