To me its certain Zane will die. The only thing that i really want is that:

1) before Despair is killed, he is able to commit horrendous acts about humanity by killing thousands of innocents, making his murderous grin ecched into peoples minds as some one that cannot be forgotten

2) the person killing him is sone one he's met before and has come to truly hate Despair.
