Daigoro Ito
Name: Daigoro Ito
State Name: The WindBlade Alchemist
Alias/Nickname: None
Age: 21
Gender: M
Race: Amestrian/Homunculus
DOB: 29/12
Birthplace: Amestris
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 162 lb
Eye color: Red
Hair color: Red
Hair Style: Body Length, tied into a ponytail with cloth weaving throughout.
Clothing: Wears the usual State Military uniform when working, but when away from work usually wears a black jacket and dark blue pants, with black boots.
Overall Pic: Daigoro is relatively tall and slim, and does not show any muscle mass beneath his skin. He also has an auto-mail left arm from the elbow down, and the palm of that hand has a 6-pointed transmutation circle etched within. He also wears a white glove on his right hand, and the palm of that hand has the same type of circle embroidered on. Daigoro's ouroboros is on the back of his right shoulder.
Personality: Daigoro is extremly quiet and reserved, preferring to work alone. He also has trust issues, not really believing in the morals of others, but if you have gained his trust, he will be forever loyal as a friend, even dying for you if need be. But, if you happen to betray that trust, you will not get it again, even if you plead for it. While Daigoro does trust the State, it is not complete trust.
Skills: Daigoro can manipulate any air currents near his body, and when the proper transmutation circle is used.
Weapons: Daigoro carries a chain-whip known as 'Wolfsbane', which he keeps in his hair for when his Alchemy isn't enough.
Transportation: Train.
Special Item: A State Alchemy pocket watch that his grandfather owned. It has lost it's ability to amplify it's owner's alchemic abilities.
Family: No family to speak of. Mother dead by father's hand. Father dead by his hand. Only child.
History: Daigoro was born into a 'happy' family. His father was an Alchemist, practicing ways of moving sound-waves to do his bidding. His mother was a simple housewife. So, all seemed happy in the house of Ito. Of course, this wasn't the case. Daigoro was still-born, and his father decided to attempt human alchemy. The transmutation was just about successful, the closest ever to a perfect transmutation. But it wasn't perfect. Kenshin brought back two of Daigoro's limbs, his entire right arm, and his left down to his elbow. The rest of his body appeared to be human, but was actually Homonculus. Only a little bit of his soul remained, and as a price, Daigoro's father lost his sanity in equivalent exchange.
Daigoro's mother noticed nothing, and didn't see that Daigoro had changed. But Kenshin did. As so, his father started to use him as a test subject for his Alchemy. These tests involved having transmutation circles drawn onto him for negative reasons and his father barraging him with sound waves. His mother had no clue of what was happening. Daigoro's father simply went about the tests muttering comments like scum to himself.
This went on for about 10 years, until Daigoro's 13th birthday. It was business as usual, and Daigoro was getting the deluxe treatment, as it was his birthday. All went to plan, until he screamed in pain. It wasn't unusual for Daigoro to do this, as the tests did hurt, but his father had stupidly left the door open. So, of course, Daigoro's mother heard and instinctively went to see her son. She found the room, and confronted Kenshin. The man simply pulled out a handgun and shot his mother right between the eyes, right in front of Daigoro.
Daigoro managed to break free from his bonds, and snuck up behind his father. He took some of his drawn blood, and drew a transmutation circle on his father's back. Both because Kenshin had actively forbidden Daigoro from learning Alchemy and that Daigoro's arms were not completely human, the circle wasn't perfect. So, when Daigoro put his hands onto the circle, he never managed to make it past the second step, and his father's body was deconstructed. Instead of shying away from Alchemy, Daigoro chose to instead perfect it, finding and reading all the books his father owned, and then finding out that his grandfather himself had been working for the state. It took six years of work before Daigoro decided that he was finally going to follow in his grandfather's steps and join the State. And this is where he has been until today. He recieved the auto-mail after losing half of his arm in battle, when a crazed soldier came at him with a knife.
RP Sample: Daigoro's eyes opened, the room around him blurred. He blinked for a couple of seconds and tried to rub his forehead, as he had a massive headache. But that was when he remembered it. He had his arms bound by his father. Nice. He looked around, and saw his father by the open door, and saw his mother standing there pleading with him.
"Please, Kenshin, I'll ignore that this ever happened."
"You've seen too much. You must be silenced."
That's when the gunshot fired. Daigoro's eyes widened.
No. NO. NO!
Daigoro began to struggle against his bonds. He had to get free, he had to see her! He moved left and right, all the while screaming,
"MOTHER! MOTHER!" A few seconds of struggle and the already weak bonds broke, and Daigoro landed silently on the ground. He dipped his finger in the pool of blood on his stomach, and crept over to his father's back. He slowly drew a circle on the back of the man who had killed his mother, the man not even noticing as the pain of just killing the only woman he loved spread through him. Daigoro smiled, and put his hands onto the circle, not knowing what would happen next. That's when it happened. The circle glowed and his father simply... exploded.
