lori sat on a rock, looking up at the dark clouds of the night sky, the moon peeking out and shining enough light to ilumanate the things around her. she closed her eyes, thinking she was alone, and started to hum and sing.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mlmhMS_luX8

"Little child, be not afraid
The rain pounds harsh against the glass
Like an unwanted stranger
There is no danger
I am here tonight

Little child
Be not afraid
Though thunder explodes
And lightning flash
Illuminates your tearstained face
I am here tonight

And someday you'll know
That nature is so
This same rain that draws you near me
Falls on rivers and land
And forests and sand
Makes the beautiful world that you see
In the morning

Little child
Be not afraid
The storm clouds mask your beloved moon
And it's candlelight beams
Still keep pleasant dreams
I am here tonight

Little child
Be not afraid
The wind makes creatures of our trees
And the branches to hands
They're not real, understand
And I am here tonight

And someday you'll know
That nature is so
This same rain that draws you near me
Falls on rivers and land
And forest and sand
Makes the beautiful world that you see
In the morning

For you know, once even I
Was a little child
And I was afraid
But a gentle someone always came
To dry all my tears
Trade sweet sleep for fears
And to give a kiss goodnight

Well, now I am grown
And these days have shown
Rain's a part of how life goes
But it's dark and it's late
So I'll hold you and wait
'til your frightened eyes do close

And I hope that you'll know
That nature is so
This same rain that draws you near me
Falls on rivers and land
And forests and sand
Makes the beautiful world that you see
In the morning

Everything's fine in the morning
The rain will be gone in the morning
But I'll still be here in the morning"

Takegami sat in a tree sipping a glass of wine, relaxing himself and playing music on his shamisen. He heard a voice from below, and looked down to see a young female sitting on a rock... talking to herself? Wait, no, she was singing, he just couldn't tell from the distance. He stood up and leapt off of the tree quietly, gliding downward onto the ground behind her. He landed gently, not even rustlining a leaf, amking no sound.

"You have a nice voice..."

Takegami bowed slightly in apology, but when he looked up he nearly fell over himself. It was the girl named Lori from before. He was beginning to see alot of her lately... He simply sighed and leaned against the rock, hitting three chords of the shamisen.

"That song you were singing, what is it called?"

Takegami nodded slightly and tried matching the notes she sang, recreating the melody of the song with ease. He sighed and looked up at the full moon which shone down on the area, lighting it up fully.

Hm, interesting... What are you doing so far away from Amestris anyway?"

"i was going to visit my mother, but it seems her and my step father have gone on vacation for a month" she said with a slightly annoyed tone in her voice as she mentioned her step father.

Takegami couldn't help but remember that Lori was Katie's half sister. He pondered the thought of who they shared the same parent with, and simply sighed slightly.

"You both share the same father, right?"

Takegami simply wondered how their father was. It had been a while since he talked with Katie's parents, and they never mentioned there being another child. Then again, she was a bastard child (not in the mean way), therefore mentioning her would make him look bad.

"Ahh, i see. Are you envious of your sister?"

Takegami laughed lightly and struck a few more chords out of boredom. He then looked at the moon and started playing a little lullaby he heard earlier... the one she was singing.

Takegami listened to her sing the song, enjoying himself untill the song came to an end. He looked up at the moon, which was reflecting on a lake not to far from them, and laughed lightly.

"Who taught you that song?"

He wondered about that answer, trying to figure out if that grandmother would be the same as Katie's. He simply brushed it aside, and placed the shamisen down gently.

"I'm sorry for attacking you the first time we met, your flesh just smelled... extravagent."

He chuckled slightly, finding this girl not to be to bad. He then looked over at her with a gentle smile and couldn't help but ask.

"Rumors are that you and Genji natsume are dating, am i correct?"

He couldn't help but laugh at the girl. He simply walked over to the girl, his hand resting on his blade, and he slowly drew it from the sheath. It glistened in the moonlight, and he appeared behind the girl, his cold voice carrying on throughout her mind, echoing forever.

"Just let me know when you want him cut down, and it'll be done..."

Takegami vanished right before she could turn around, hoping to scare her.

Takegami seemed to rise out of the ground as if it was water, a sadistic grin placed on his face. His fangs were red, and blood dripped out of the corner of his mouth. His blade was covered in blood, and he held an arm in his mouth. He pulled the arm out of his mouth and laughed maniacally.

"I am fear... foolish girl."

Takegami couldn't help but laugh at the girl. He fell backwards holding his stomach, trying his best to hold back the laughter. The look on her face was priceless.
