Reclaim part II (Katie x Ilona - CLOSED)

Ilona cradled Kamijo in her arms, who was giggled and reaching out for her. A few hours ago, when Takegami died, he given Matthias back to her. She knew that woman had him in her arms. The thought of it made Ilona's blood boil. As a renewal of her faith in Takegami, she wore his ring and hers side by side. She could not wait to have Matthias back in her arms.

Katie arrived in Drachma with Matthias in her arms. She'd only been with him for a short amount of time. Although, of course she had to give him back.
She wasn't Matthias's actual mother, even if his second word (and it was directly to her) was "Mommy".

The little baby was asleep in her cradling arms as she found and reached Ilona.
Katie of course was still scared of her from that day.

"Il-Ilona?" She called softly, hoping for a responce. "I-I have M-Matthias with me..." She knew that Ilona would be mad at her.
"I'm really sorry..."

Ilona handed Kamijo to one of the nurses and told the servants to wait outside. She removed her sunglasses, her eyes no longer cold steel but replaced with the color of blood. She smiled at the sight of Matthias and gently took him in her arms. Ilona lightly touched tiny head, a blue glow emmiting from her hand. She had erased all memory from the past few months.
"Thank you Katie for returning my son, I'm sure he had a great time with you.."She said in a cool aloof voice, her blood red eyes looming at Katie like a predator inspecting it's prey.

"H-he did...I-I'm really sorry, I-Ilona...you may not like this, but, Matthias said his second word to me, and it was 'mommy'...a-again, I'd really like to apologize. I know he's your son..."
Katie, of course, sounded scared. She could see the look in Ilona's eyes, and it scared her almost half-to-death.
And she really was sorry, even if it wasn't her fault at all.

Ilona then only smiled, calling a nurse to take Matthias back to the nursery with his younger brother. After the maids left, Ilona took a seat next to the window, gesturning Katie to sit opposite to her.
"His first is mommy you say? Well, I guess it'll change seeing as I had erased his memory. He'll just think he was asleep and when he wakes up, he'll forget you."She said with a smile, an icy coldness. Ilona tried so hard not to riip this girl into little pieces but then..Takegami isn't here to defend her anymore.

Katie gulped, but still sat on the opposite side of Ilona.
Ilona wanted to kill her; and she knew it. If it weren't for Takegami last time, she'd be dead now.
"Th-that d-doesn't m-matter....y-you're his m-mother after all...." She was scared, and it certainly showed. She was stuttering more than she usually would if she were nervous or scared.
"I-It doesn't m-matter i-if he rem-remember's m-me or n-not..."

"Why so scared Katie?"She said with a sadistic tone. Ilona then stood up, walking slowly towards Katie with a predatory aura. She brought her face close to Katie's, her blood red eyes glowing with repressed anger.
"Maybe because Takegami is no longer here to defend you....Is that right?"

"Wh-what...?"
Katie hadn't heard of this. She still thought that Takegami was alive. What happened?
"Wh-what do you m-mean?"
When she looked into Ilona's eyes, it looked like she wouldn't hold back this time...

Ilona took a step back and revealed her hand, bearing her wedding with Takegami's ring beside hers. A flicker of saddness past through her eyes. She was weak. She promised to shield him from all saddness and anything that would harm him. But she failed. She wasn't strong enough..
"I killed him."She said with an emotionless voice.

Katie's eyes went wide. Ilona....killed him?
Sadness had immediately swept over her.
"How could you?" She tried to stop herself from crying, but couldn't find a way to do so. "I thought you loved him!!!"

Ilona said nothing, she said she killed him because she wasn't strong enough to protect him. Ilona's mind flashed an image of his dead body, the sword that ripped his flesh. Ilona looked at Katie, her face emotionless, no longer showing any sadism in it.
"Now you can leave, I got what I wanted."She said, her voice piercing with coldness.

Katie wasn't bent on leaving, but if she didn't, things probably wouldn't end up well for her.
Starting to turn and leave, she felt she should say one more thing.
"Tell Matthias, when he wakes up, that I hope to see him again."

"You seeing him again?!"Ilona said with anger. She walked towards Katie and slapped her with the back of her hand causing her to crash onto the wall.Ilona then grabbed her throat, raising her up in the air.
"You are not going to see him again. Do you think you have the right to even see him? Takegami had taken him away from me and you say you want to see him again?! What nerve."She growled, gripping the girl's throat tighter.

"F-Fine..." Katie tried to say and breathe as much as she could with Ilona gripping her throat. She was losing air fast. She didn't want to die by Ilona's hands! She didn't want to die period.
"Y-you don't h-have to tell him an-anything..." Katie wasn't the giving up type, unless her life was completely on the line like this.
"J-Just...l-l-let....go....pl-please..."

Ilona gripped her throat tighter, causing her nails to dig into Katie's skin. Seeing her squirm gave her no satisfaction at all. She didn't feel like killing the girl anymore. The feeling was long gone. Ilona threw her to the other side of the room, her nails coated with her blood.
"Get out. If you are in my line of sight again, I swear I will rip of apart without hestiation."She said, calling a maid to escort Katie out.

Katie took in a large breath when she was dropped, although her neck was bleeding.
Getting herself up, the maid escorted the girl out.
She just escaped with her life; almost. She now doesn't care whether she sees Ilona or not ever again.

Ilona sighed and walked towards the nursery and saw Matthias and Kamijo sleeping together in one crib. The sight made her smile as she carassed both her sons hair. She sang a lulaby in the Drachmanian language that her mother had once sang to her..
