Katie blushed a dark red hearing Al's question.
She didn't even want to think about it before pulling up a blanket on the couch; where she decided she'd be sleeping.
She thought about it another time...but then shook her head, telling herself 'no'.
"A-Alright then, n-night..." She stated softly enough for Al to hear.
She then thought about what he said again, but this time, hearing something else..."Yeah...you've just got to die first..."
What did that mean?

[~Time Skip: 8:07am~]
Envy woke up with a loud yawn as he sat up in the bed. He'd had a very eventful sleep and it made him feel all giddy inside.
Getting up with a second yawn, the ex-alchemist walked over to Katie and crouched down beside her, before shifting into an exact copy of her and shaking her lightly. 'She' -Envy- smiled menacingly as 'she' said in a sickeningly sweet tone:
"Time to get up, sunshine~~"

Katie opened her eyes, thinking that she heard...her own voice?
She looked to the other side of her, seeing herself? Surprised, she slightly shrieked as she fell off the couch and onto the floor. She blinked, and she really did see herself.
She started laughing, realizing it was Envy. "Very funny, Al! Very funny..." She laughed, standing up. "Good morning to you, too."

[Alaric]

Envy then shifted back into himself -hair out and in PJs- while grinning and laughing at her reaction.
"Success!!"

Katie laughed along with him, but then she remembered something...
"Hey, weren't we supposed to go to Ishval today...?" She asked. She remembered that she was also going to acompany him to this mission.

[Alaric]

"Yup, we're leaving in two hours! Want to check out now?" Envy cheerfully asked as he started packing a small suitcase that had been half-full of paperwork to begin with.
The reason for that is he had so much to do at work, was that he had to bring it with him... now he just had to get off of his ass and do it.
The boy then materialized a map of the city and tossed in the girl's direction.
"Before you ask, I'm level 3, or in other words I'm at the elemental level of homunculus and only my brothers Pride and Greed match me in strength. I can materialize things out of nothing, in other words." He explained as he closed the bag and clipped it shut, before shifting into his usual military attire, "Now that map's an exact replica of the one I memorized yesterday, so pick a place, our train leaves in two hours where we get off at East City and switch for the border. We'll be in Ishval in 5 days is we're fast, maybe a week if not."

Katie caught the map before it landed on the ground. She looked at it closely, and then closed it. She nodded to herself. "Alright. But, unlike you, I actually have to go change myself. I'll be right back." Katie took her change of clothes and went into the bathroom.
Coming out in her usual attire (she never wears the military uniform), she woke up her ferret and he climbed onto her shoulders.
"Alright, I'm pretty much ready. You said two hours? What are we going to do to kill two hours...?" She asked.

[Alaric]

"There's a train leaving in ten minutes, but the station is a fifteen minute walk away. Unless we can bolt to the station VERY fast, we could just hang around and, I dunno, check out the sites or something..." He said with a light shrug. After that he materialized a copy of their key and tossed it to Katie, "Lock up when you're done re-packing your stuff, I'll go fill in the stuff to sign us out. Give me the key when you come down so I can re-absorb it."
He then left to go fix up signing out of the motel.

Catching the keys, she smiled. That ability was awesome!
When the door closed, Katie followed the orders and started packing up her things. At the beginning, she never thought she'd be staying here. Or even going to Ishval with Alexander Elric...
How great were things going for her?
And, not to mention the Al was kind enough to invite her with him, to switch her commanding officers...he was being so considerate of her, and he was truthful to her, and she really admired--
Katie stopped for a moment. She knew that she had really admired him, but had admiration turned into something else?
She wasn't sure. Although, every time she did see him, she certainly felt something, but not admitting that she did. Part of it was friendship, but another part was something she couldn't identify.

Katie finished packing and locked up, meeting Al in the lobby and giving the key back. Her little ferret was trying to keep up with her, she was moving so fast! And she was acting differently this time, but he wasn't sure what it was.
"So...wanna try that walk again?" Katie asked after handing over the key.

[Alaric]

"Sure!" Al said as he took the key and put it in his pocket, dematerializing it before pulling his hand out again, "Well we wouldn't get that train anyway, the station's on the other side of town!"
The boy the pushed a loose strand of his braided hair from his eyes and giggled lightly. Envy then lead her out of the inn and onto the surprisingly populated Saturday streets.
He graoned slightly when a cute comment was thrown their way.
"I swear, fangirls scare the shit out of me..." He said with a shudder, before picking up his pride and grinning again, pointing to the east direction where the forest was, "The view's pretty good there, wanna go check it out?"

"S-sure," Katie stuttered, slightly blushing. She followed Envy, standing right next to him.
This felt different to her. What bugged her the most was that she couldn't figure out the emotion she was feeling.
Before, she was fine being around him, but now her face felt hot, she was blushing, and she didn't know what to say. What's wrong with me? She though, irritated with herself.
"Hey, would it be alright if I took your hand...?" She asked. She was really nervous for some reason.

[Alaric]

"Huh? Why'd you wanna do that-? Oh! You must be cold, of course!" Envy said with a wide grin as he slipped his cold hand into hers, before casting her a sideways glance with his eyes narrowed in just the slightest, their golden yellow looking at her features closely.
He only did this for one reason:

Her hand was most definitely warm.

Katie didn't notice that he was looking at her. If she had known, she would've blushed more than she was now.
She thought she finally figured out what she'd felt, only because she was told about something like this before...although she wasn't completely sure.
Had her admiration turned into love?

"Th-thanks..." She stuttered, but was able to get those words out. She looked around, and found a clock on one of the buildings. It's been about a half-hour since they left the hotel for a walk. Time went by so slow, but that was probably because Katie was so nervous. She wondered if time was going as slow for Al as it was for her.

[Alaric]

Time was flying for the homunculus as he grinned at her and without a second thought lifted her onto his shoulders like a parent would do with their child.
"I know I'm not the tallest guy in the world, but I bet the view's better up there!!"

[Guest]

Katie shrieked slightly, being lifted up. She then smiled, and laughed.
She looked around, and the view was better. "Yeah! It is better from up here!" She giggled, putting her hand on her forehead, covering her eyes.
She looked down at Envy; and smiled brightly at him. She was so much better than before.

After awhile, Katie looked to the clock. They had about 45 minutes left in Reole. "Hey, you wanna start heading over to the train station? It could take us awhile."

[Alaric]

"Bah, don't worry, I'll get us there quickly." He said with a wide grin and then without saying anything he moved her into a secure position on his back and then ran and jumped up, landing on top of one of the houses, "Oh, look, it's a nice view from here to!"

Katie laughed again, as Envy was basically giving her a piggy back ride around the city.
She looked at the larger view, and it was beautiful. She really liked it up here.
"Yeah, it is!" She agreed. "How much higher can we go?"

[Alaric]

"Well... hold on tight!" He said with a grin before he began to hum some kind of tune.
The air around him and the girl began swirling before it lifted them both about 100m into the air and kept them there.
"I'd go higher, but I'm only a level 3 homunculus so I don't want to risk it."

Katie glanced at Envy when he said he was only a level three...there were levels? She didn't bother asking. Not now, anyway.
"Well, it's alright. I'm fine with it!" She smiled, again, looking around at the area. They were pretty high, and she could see just about everything.
She started wondering how much time they had left before the next train left...it was probably soon by now, right? Even though she didn't want to leave this, she just had to bug him about it.
"Hey, what time is it? I think it's pretty close to the time the train departs."

[Alaric]

"I think you're right..." He then lowered them onto the roof with his song and got into a position, "Ok then, hold on tight~~!!!!"
Suddenly he sped off, though in fact he was slowing down time slightly with his melody before they finally arrived at the station and the melody stopped, sending everything back at normal pace. He rushed onto the train without a second thought and stopped in the A class carriage.
He opened one of the doors and stepped inside before sitting down, seating Katie next to him and grinning.
"Wow... we made it. Don't worry, I'll just get them to take it out of my paycheck." He said before he began feeling dizzy, "Crap, I forgot about energy depletion... lemme sleep here, k? Thanks..."
He then crashed and fell asleep on Katie's lap as the train left it's station, heading for Ishval.

((Ok, can you make the new topic in Ishval? Also, just pretend that a bunch of erands were run in central too as I can count Envy's evolution and stuff in the Ishval RP, ^.^))
