A desert meeting (Xan)

Revel walked in the desert and yawned. It'd been aw while since she'd seen anyone. Yuan was away, she hadn't heard from her new 'boss' and there was nothing to do! She was incredibly bored.

Xan appeared on the horizon riding a black horse. He was heading to Ishval when he spotted Revel in the distance. Feeling like it would be funny, he directed the horse to go in her direction while he called her on his communicator.

Revel, can you hear me? If so, where are you right now?

The only way that Revel would see him was if she turned around, and Xan doubted that she would do that while she was on the...communicator.

Revel blinked and looked at the communicator. It was speaking, after fumbling a few minutes, she managed to figure out how to talk. "Uhmm I'm in the center of the desert near the oasis." she replied quickly. She had no idea he was behind her. She was staring at the communicator, intrigued.

Xan had gotten close enough to Revel that she would hear the horse if he kept riding it. Jumping off, Xan sneaked closer to Revel. You're alone in the desert? What if you're attacked by bandits or something? It would be terrible if something happened to you. I'd be torn apart on the inside.

[Revel Yao]

Revel blushed faintly, not noticing the presence. "I-I'll be fine. I'm a strong girl after all." She felt her heartbeat speeding anyways. It was so strange.

Xan was close enough to reach out and touch Revel, which he proceeded to do. Not in a lecherous way, of course, just sweeping her off of her feet for a good laugh.

Good morning, Revel! Looks like you're not alone in the desert anymore!

[Revel Yao]

Revel let out a squeal and shout of surprise, squirming slightly. Her heart was rocketing before she finally realized who it was, "Xan! You scared me!"

Xan laughed and put Revel back on her feet. He enjoyed seeing her so flustered, as it was funny to see her cute face attempt to make a negative emotion. Sorry Revel, I just couldn't help myself. You were just sitting here being so vulnerable.

[Revel Yao]

Revel huffed and tried to look angry, "Vulnerable? I'm just as dangerous as anyone else!" She crossed her arms in an attempt to seem mad.. which probably failed.. miserably.

Xan resisted the urge to laugh at Revels' attempt to look angry. He whistled, and the black horse walked over to him. Xan hopped onto the horse and held his hand out to Revel.

We're heading to the oasis in the southern part of the desert, are you coming with us?

[Revel Yao]

Revel hesitated and grabbed his hand. "Alright..." She was attempting to hide her face again. Her blush prominent on her cheeks.

When Revel climbed on the horse, Xan placed her hands around his waist. Hold on Revel, Dark Lightning here likes to go fast, hence the name.

As soon as he finished speaking, as if on cue, his horse started galloping at full speed toward the southern oasis.

Revel let out a squeal of surprise and hung her hands tight around his waist, afraid of falling off. Her face buried in his back.

Xan and Revel rode for a little while, as the southern oasis wasn't very far away from where they started.

Black Lightning stopped when Xan gave a hand signal. They had all made it to the oasis in no time at all!

Xan looked backwards at Revel. Alright Revel, we're here.

Revel was still burying her face in his back, clinging tightly. She hadn't rode a horse before, it was new to her obviously.
