Re: Relocation.. means work...
Kiri paused and shrugged it off staring at the broken figurine with a sigh. "That was my mother's..."

Kiri sighed, wincing as she reached in, the glass cutting at her fingers. She didn't care at the minute. Instead she simply held the wings in her hand as if they were a baby bird.

"I could fix it if you want," Tobi said uncertainly, looking at the broken glass.

Tobi took them gently in his hands. "I'm going to use alchemy," He said, "So turn away if you don't want to see, alright?"

Kiri hesitated and shook slightly. Maybe this one time she could watch.. maybe.. "It.. won't have lightning will it?"

Tobi smiled and drew the Transmutation Circle, putting the glass in the middle. "Ready?"

Kiri nodded, her body shaking a little. She was terrified.. but something told her she'd be okay.

He put his hands to the circle. There was a blue flash, but no lightning. When the flash was over, the glass was back together seamlessly. He handed it to her.

Since she was sitting on him, Tobi just lied there. "I'm glad I could help, Kiri."

Kiri smiled brightly and leaned over, kissing Tobi's forehead. She was easily and obviously excited and happy, pleased. "Really I can't thank you enough."

Tobi smiled and patted her on the head. "It was nothing, Kiri, really," He said, studying her eyes. She's so happy, he thought, she must be very close to her mother.

Kiri grinned and got off him. She then stretched out her arms and sighed contently.

Kiri smiled and looked at the angel and sighed, "My mother died last year of cancer.." She looked over at Tobi. "That was her favorite thing that my father ever got her." She blushed slightly. "I wish I wasn't such a cluts..."

"I'm sorry for your loss," He said, eyes on the little glass angel as well. "I didn't know my mother very well, I was only two when she died. And my father...well, I wasn't too awfully upset when he died. I guess..." He sighed, "I guess I'm pretty lucky then, aren't I? I don't really know what it's like to loose a parent."

Kiri frowned and shook her head, "No.. It still hurts. Sometimes it hurts even more when you don't have that parental guidance." She walked over with a soft, sympathetic glance and plopped down, giving him a kind hug. "You know you can confide in me if you want." She smiled sweetly, sincerely.

Tobi hugged her back and smiled. "Thanks, Kiri. I'll remember that."

Kiri laughed and smiled, then looked serious "Good that you will, because I can't remember anything!" She laughed and stood up, offering her hand to him.
