Revel stared at him with soft and scared eyes, "I don't know.. I don't want to be evil..." She whimpered.

Xan sighed, and fought the urge to shed a tear for Revel. It probably wouldn't help the situation.

If you don't want to be evil, then don't be evil. Tell me, at what stage of the Homunculus evolution are you? I'm rather curious, you know?

Revel was a bout to speak but she stopped. She could feel her skin crawling as if something was watching her, eyeing her walking towards the light. She almost felt choked, but fought against it, "Level?" her mind scrambled, "I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say.."

Poor Revel, what had Takegami done to her? It was getting difficult to understand that man.

Revel, remind me where your mark is, would you?

If Revel couldn't speak of herself, then Xan would simply find the answers to his questions himself.

Revel blushed, feeling very awkward, the place of her mark was kind of personal, however she'd deal. She could trust Xan after all, right? Maybe he could help her even. Pealing away some of the cloak she revealed her belly, the ring around her belly button a dark blue.

Xan brought up his hand and touched the mark, feeling a tingling sensation as he did so.

So, Revel had been forced into level three huh? Xan remembered how a homunculus became third level, as he had forced Yuan Yao into the third level by murdering his grandfather before his eyes.

So, what did he do? What horrible torment did he put you through?

Xan carefully controlled his voice. Though he'd never admit it, he had a soft spot for Revel, and her being in pain made him want to destroy everything in sight.

Takegami walked out of the darkness, covered in blood. His hair was longer and worn in a ponytail similiar to Envy's, except his hair was black with brown streaks. He wore an all blue kimono, and carried two katana on his left hip.

"Revel, i managed to catch the drunk who was bad mouthing... oh, hey Xan."

[Revel Yao]

Revel squirmed slightly uncomfortably under the touch. She didn't respond, simply stared at her lap. Torment? No that was not even close to the right word. She whispered under her breath a story her father once told her. "Heavy dreams came to haunt her waited slumber in sleep only darkened by night though she really is just a voice struggling on air" That fit her situation, didn't it?

Revel caught herself instantly snapping her head up to see Take. Her eyes were wide saucers in her head. Oh damn.. how much did he know..? How much did he see? But more importantly.. how much did he know? Did he know what Revel was trying to do? She searched his eyes for a hint on whether she should try to escape.

Xan resisted several urges to glare at Take, and to do much worse. Instead, he opted for the calm approach.

Standing up, he gave Take a small smile.

Hey to you too Take. Tell me, what did you do to Revel? She seems to be a bit.....different.

Takegami raised an eyebrow, acting as if he was confused by what Xan meant. He knew exactly what they were talking about, for he watched them from afar, but decided to play it normally or things could happen. He shrugged and raised his hand cting as if he was lost on the stuation.

"I don't know what your talking about, but if i did, i'm sorry Revel. And please, apologize to 'Yao' aswell for me."

Takegami put emphasis on what he said before looking at Revel. His eyes seemed emotionless and filled with anger. To think that this insolent child would dare to deny the power he gave her, it sickend him.

Revel felt shivers rocket down her spine, tears pouring from her eyes as she stared at him in defeat, "N-No! Please don't hurt Yuan! I-I'll do anything! I won't ever do this again.." Revel teleported at his feet, clinging to his pant leg, sobbing. It wasn't fair, it wasn't right.. but she had been forced into a pact with him now. All hope was gone.. she couldn't be saved.. could she? "Punish me.. don't hurt anyone else please..." she begged hopelessly

Takegami's eyes opened wide as he pretended to become confused by the situation. He quickly helped Revel to her feet and hugged her.

"Revel, what are you talking about? I would never hurt you or Yao, i love you both too much. I don't know what's gotten into you, but maybe you should rest..."

When Takegami said this he looked her in her eye, his lips glistening slightly with poison. This was her warning to calm down and shush, or else she would suffer nightmares worse than before.

[Revel Yao]

Revel instantly shushed and looked away. "... my apologies. I've been reading too much Shakespeare." She was quiet after those last words. She knew she'd regret that. Not now, but later.. but she knew damn well if she lost control again, she'd be suffering far worse.

Xan stared with an odd mixture of horror, curiosity, and feigned indifference at the scene unfolding before him.

What the hell had Take done? What unspeakable evil had Take committed that could break Revel?

Fighting down his emotions again, Xan looked up at Take.

This time, do not lie to me. What the hell have you done to Revel?

This time it wasn't so much Xan talking as it was Diligence.

OOC: Note the dark blue, it's the change to angry Diligence mode.

Takegami simply sighed lightly and looked over at Xan. His lustful azure eyes were now violet and seemed to carry chaos and discord in them. He laughed slightly before kneeling over near Revel and kissing her. Once he kissed her, the poison entered her immediately, and the nightmares should have struck her instantly. He stood up slowly and laughed maniacally, his voice carrying a psychotic tone.

"Whatever do you mean, Diligence?"

Revel's eyes widened and she felt the tears forming in her eyes before the poison even touched her. Seconds later, nopt even she fell to her kneess, crumpling quickly, holding her head as she let out a blood curcling scream of pain.

Xan only watched with increasing anger as Take kissed Revel, coming to a head when she began to scream.

Xan disappeared in a blinding flash of white light and reappeared next to Revel's side, on one knee so that he could get a better look at what was happening. After staring at Revel without speaking for a minute, Xan looked up at Take with a cold look.

Takegami, what ever you just did, reverse it. I can see that there is some poison on your lips. And where there is poison there is an antidote, so do not lie to me.

Whatever happened next, Xan couldn't just let Revel stay like this, it was horrible for him to watch.

Takegami laughed psychotically, but then again, was this really Takegami? The violet eyes, the sensuall touches, the feminine acts, it was all similiar to Reita's actions. Could it be Reita? Or was Takegami just faking? Well, only two people knew, Takegami and Reita.

"Takegami? No, call me Father. HUAHAHAHAHAHA!! There is no antidote, only the poisons horrible effects."

[Revel Yao]

Revel couldn't respond. Her eyes were blank, pupil-less holes that showed the flashes of her soul and mind being shreaded to pieces. The awful images returning, her body weak. Ama howled and ran over to Revel, lying at her feet and whimpering before growling her obvious discontent at Take. Revel couldn't hear anthiong, almost as if she was a living shell.. a puppet.

Xan resisted the urge to attempt to rip out Take's spine. If there was no antidote, then Revel would need to go somewhere where she wouldn't feel such terrible amounts of pain.

Suddenly, Xan opened a hole under Revel's body, and she fell into the alternate dimension of light. Xan closed the portal into a wisp form that floated around his head, then he stood up to face Takegami.

Why are you torturing her Takegami? Normally isn't this kind of punishment reserved for those who have earned it?

Xan had suddenly shifted into a calm state, which was rather eerie considering what had just happened.

[OOC: It's poison Xan, you can change the outside, but not the inside...]

IG: Takegami chuckled devilishly and seemed to ignore Xan. He simply leaned against a tree, and yawned slightly before pulling out a pink hair clip. He played with it in his hand, and tossed it in the air a few times. He enjoyed hearing the screams of Revel, and moaned in ecstasy, his hand sliding down onto his lower area. He sucked on his finger sensually and winked at Xan, toying with the man.

"I still don't know what your talking about, friend."

OOC: Actually, I should have used the word discomfort, I no that i can only change the outside, that's why I sent her to the light dimension, so she'd be comfortable in her pain. How can you hear her anyway, she's not even in this dimension anymore!

IC: Xan Diligenza leaned against a nearby building and turned his head to face Takegami.

Take, you really are quite cruel, you know that? Even if you don't admit that you're behind this, I know that you are what's causing Revel such pain. The question is, what do you want her in such pain for?

Xan couldn't really account for any emotions right now except for a cold anger at what Take had done. And even beyond that, the fact of the matter was that he was lying about it!

IG: Takegami suddenly shuddered slightly before drawing his katana and pulling the blade across his chest. Blood seeped out through the wound, and Takegami simply swiped some of the blood with his middle finger, and placed it in his mouth savouring the taste. He couldn't help but moan again, before looking over at Xan, blushing slightly. His wound healed within seconds, however, the blood still remained on Takegami's chest and was visible at the opening of the kimono.

"I can't answer your question, for Takegami isn't the cause of her pain."

Xan looked at Take with a dawning realization on his face. Then, he simply shrugged as though he weren't surprised in the least to see that this particular bastard was back.

Reita, is that you? How on earth did you manage to take control of Take's body?

Xan was thinking to himself that the situation just got a bit more interesting.

Reita laughed when Xan figured out it was him. He caught a hold of himself, and returned to his normal posture, without touching himself constantly. He smiled at Xan devilishly, wondering exactly what to do now. He could always just have a 'friendly' conversation with his old friend.

"Come now, is that anyway to treat your former strategist? I did help you become who you are today, remember?"
