A perfect date? Empty A perfect date?

Post by Guest Sun Apr 04, 2010 2:43 pm

Takegami sat in the forest near a waterfall infront of a table waiting for the arrival of Ilona. He had asked her out to dinner, and hopefully, she would agree to meet him. He wanted to catch up on old times, and learn more about her. He felt that there had been a gap between the two lately, and he didn't want a tense relationship. He sighed as he sipped his wine, and set it back down, hoping things would go well. He wore an all black kimono this time, and his katanas weren't worn this go round, for he just wanted a peaceful date with her for once.

"What should i start off with?"

Ilona got off her car and ordered her escorts to leave her until furthr notice. It felt like months since she last saw Takegami, riding out headfirst into war and since then she reliased the huge gap between them..That gap started to grow since the sewer incident..She wore a black coat with a black dress underneath complete with a corset. Ilona swore she must have gotten thinner...

Takegami sat there, his legs crossed femininely, staring at the waterfall, it's beauty soothing him. He could only think about Ilona as he sat there, waiting for her arrival. He sighed sadly, knowing it was his fault they weren't as close, and why she seemed to be sad most of the time. His love could cause only pain, and this thought made him even think about getting up and leaving, but he stayed for his love of Ilona was great.

She walked on further, hearing the sounds of the waterfall. She carefully guided her IV stand and then Ilona finally saw him. She sighed in relief that he looks well and walked on further. For the past few months, Ilona had been eating less, she never noticed hunger as she was too busy looking after Matthias he was top priority in her life now besides Takegami.

Takegami looked back at Ilona after hearing her footsteps, his face gentle and showing a slightly sad expression. His azure eyes weren't lustful, but rather drained of happiness, and showed only sorrow. He stood up and walked over to Ilona, hugging her. He remained quiet, his words not being able to escape his mouth for some reason.

She hugged him back, savouring his body warmth. Ilona prayed hard that this wasn't another dream or a fleeting moment like it was before. She couldn't say anything, there wasn't any need for words, Ilona as him for a day and thats all she needs...

Takegami led her over to the table, and pulled the seat out for her. He wanted, no, he needed this day to be perfect, and he would do anything to assure that it was perfect. Once she sat down, he pushed the chair in for her, and sat down across from her. A servant walked over to them, and bowed slightly.

"What would you two like, madam, sir?"

"Currywurst with a side of chips.."Then she remembered. It was the same thing she ordered when they had their first date..Back then they hardly knew eachother but had this strong attraction to eachotther...That time felt like years to hear even though it probably wouldve been a year by now..

Takegami ordered a simple salad and handed the man the menus. He then looked back at Ilona, trying to figure out what to say. Dates weren't his strong points, and he had a tough time figuring these types of things out.

"How has your day been so far?"

"Oh Takegami don't be like that, you can say what you wanted to say.."How was your day" makes you sound like you couldn't think of any better to say."Ilona said smiling. She noticed that he was tense and decided to lighten the atomsphere to make him and herself comfortable.
"But since you asked, my day was quite boring..But Mattie tried to walk and it was quite funny but he is trying.."

Takegami lightened up slightly, and laughed lightly. He sighed and sipped his wine once more, remembering he was eating and drinking the samething since their first date. She must find him rather dull for his actions, and that he could understand.

"I didn't mean Matthias, i meant your day. Did you go out? Hang around? Visit one of the many sites to see?"

"A little bit...I stayed inside most of the time actually.."She said with a smile. The only reason why Ilona didn't go outside much because it was she couldn't leave Matthias out of hr sight. But seeing and being reasurred that he is in good hands, went onto to this date. I mean..How could I pass this up when I might not see Takegami again..?

Takegami nodded slightly, quickly trying to find a new topic that would make the situation a little more comfortable. He thought for a few moments when the waterfall caught his eye. Where else to think of a topic than a beautiful forest like this?

"How are you liking Eikyuu Gaka?"

"It's quite peaceful...Nothing I experienced in Amestris or Drachma..."Oh god this is getting no where, he's my husband and I feel like were in a mid life crisis or something! Ilona then quickly leaned over and kissed Takegami deeply in hopes of lightening the tension...

Takegami's eyes widened, and he kissed her back, finally becoming normal... hopefully. He then returned to his normal posture, a feminine crossing of the legs, and sighed.

"So tell me, what type of music you like..."

Ok, he lied to himself, he was still nervous...

Takegami picked up a piece of salad, and ate foremaly, not trying to seem rude or greedy. He sipped his wine once more, and his gaze fell upon Ilona.

"This was a horrible idea..."

Takegami sighed, not believeing what she said. He had already made matters bad, he didn't need to make them worst. He just nodded slightly and finished eating his salad in silence.

She sighs, seeing that this was getting nowhere.. Ilona finished her meal and took a little sip of wine. She then stood up and walked near the waterfall.
"It's true but if you don;t want to believe that's fine then.."Ilona said, pretending to be tired.

Takegami smiled weakly, and looked down at Ilona. He loved her more than anything, and he hated seeing her sad. He felt a sense of truth in what she said and nodded slightly, accepting what she said.

"Thank you... Ilona."

"No problem I mean, what and where would you be without me?"She said, giggling, trying to lighten the atomsphere even more. Ilona hated seeing Takegami sad and she promised herself that she would shield him from sadness ever since their first date.

Takegami laughed lightly and sighed happily afterwards. He then thought about how long they had been dating, which was nearly a year. Nearly a year? That meant that not once did they celebrate her birthday or anniversary. Takegami's smile quickly faded, and he cursed beneath his breath.

"Ilona, when's your birthday?"
