Damein walks out of the bar after a few drinks " So where to now? " he asks him self

Despair just finished slitting a drunken mans throat while forcing him to drink a large can of beer. Of course such an activity took place in a small alley way next to the local central bar. Once finished he strolled out, licking his blood covered fingers. He came out onto the main street at the same time Damein walked out the bar.

Heh. My next student. I hope he isn't as drunk as the last one.

Despair put on his best fake smile as his face met Damein's

"Hello there, good evening?" He asked just catching Damein's question directed at himself. He held out his hand as a form of greeting.

"My name is Xavier, pleased to meet you."

He shaked it " Im Damien "

Despair shook Damiens hand while slowlg putting his other into his pocket since it was still blood stained.

"Say, Damien I know a good night club just a few blocks from here, what do ya say? I'll get the first round."

" Well I just met you , im not going to go off with some total stranger "

Despair smiled, but this time it was completely different. It was a mentally disturbed grin.

"Alright then. Lust, I guess i'm gonna have to be blunt, aren't I?"

Damiens facial expression changed " What do you want... "

"Why so rude. I'm only came to talk. For once I'm hoping to aviod conflict. I would much rather talk inside a bar. Do you know anywhere good?"

This small talk wasn't like Despair, he was strangly calm and reasonable.

"Yeah down the street , but you know who I am so who are you really? "

Despair began to walk, obviously to the bar that Damien just mentioned.

"Me? I'm just happen to be some one with the right infomation. Infomation such as you being a homunculus, Lust. Although, to me a dissapointing homunculus from what I've seen. I have many things I want to talk to you about. But first let me get some scotch."

They reach the bar and take a seat " So what is it you want to talk to me about " Damien asked

Despair takes the shot of scotch. He spoke while looking into the glass

"Of all the things to crave..."

He trailed off. Despair changed his gaze to Lust and asked a question

"So, do you enjoy being a homunculus? Or is it a hated exsistence?"

" I ussually like it theres some perks i dont like but im good with it "

Despair just ordered the waitress for another shot. As she walked away, Despair continued

"Thats good, now as a homunculus, where do your loyalties lie? I mean, conflict is fast approaching and you don't want to be stuck in the middle."

Damien takes a sip ok his drink " I havnt really thought about it , what are the sides? "

"Well, for one, you can side with the man that calls himself father, unfortunatly, he's on a path, that causes all his allies nothing but destruction. That I learned the hard way. Theres also the Traitorz, but thats just Pride fuelling his own rivalry with father, thats just the begining. As you can see its not all black and white."

The woman brought over his second shot. He thanked her with his fake smile and carried on.

"I'm currently involved with an organizastion called the Illuminati, located in the country Cibola. Although, no one in the Illuminati can be trusted, every one in there is just out for themselves. I'm only in there to keep tabs on the others. Of course you could always side with the human military, but seeing how courrpt that is...."

" It sounds like all sides are a losing side here " Damien said as he took another sip

"Thats what It seems. Every alliance and organization is eating each other inside out like a group of parasites. Leaving a space at the top. Which I intend to fill with a trusted group. Do you catch my meaning for this conversation? Of course everything we say must be confindental."

Despair finished and drank his stotch.

" Heh , right " Damien took another sip

"Of course the only reason I trust you with this is because were brothers..." He added onto the end.

Xan appeared in a flash of blinding white light, making everyone in the bar except for the two homunculi cover their eyes with shouts of indignation.

You know Despair, one might mistake your words for treachery. Be careful Zane, I am responsible for your creation, and I can send you back to the Gate.

Although he spoke lightly, Xan's words rang true nevertheless.

Damien thought ' how many of us did he creat? '

Despairs eyes moved over to Xan.

"Well well Xan. How long have you been spying on us? I hope it wasn't too long..."

" Heh , you again Xan."

Xan sighed with a look of cool amusement.

Well, I have been 'spying' for a little while, I especially enjoyed the part about you taking a spot at the top.
