He said as he waved over the waitress.

"Same again and for xan..." He waited for him to finish.

Xan sighed and ordered some scotch. May as well see what Despair saw in this infernal drink.

There's nothing wrong with ambition, just watch yourself Sin.

Despair just laughed slightly as the two scotches arrived. Despair took his and stared at it for a second.

"Why?" He took the drink down in one and changes his gaxe to Xan "If some one stabs me in the back, I'll just get back up."

He paused for a second and laughed again as if what he said was merely a joke.

"I've no intention of ruining your group Xan, although i can't say i like your choice of lords."

Xan took a sip of scotch. Not bad, he supposed.

Turning his gaze back to Zane, he spoke.

You can only get up so many times, you know. Which reminds me, I chose my Lords and Ladies for my own purposes.

"I'm guessing there all gonna be boring. Hey, would it be that much of a problem if i kill one or two?"

The way despair said it was lik he ask if he could buy a bottle of water, a complete normal occurance. Although since this was Despair, killing comrades or anyone else for that matter, was a common occurance.

Xan shrugged, not caring if Despair killed off some of the Lords and Ladies whose loyalties were....questionable.

Well, I think that you can kill off the unloyal ones, if you want to try.

"If you want to try?" Despair repeated after Xan "Please, the way you put it makes it seem that I could lose to them."

Despair relaxed into his chair. This is probably the calmest Zane Valentine has ever been since he became a homunculus. It may have been down to the presence of other homunculi mixed in with Scotch and the fact he killed the man just outside in the alleyway.

"So, Xan. I can't remember if you've told me? Is damien here a member of the Illunimati?"
