Until Death

[Revel Yao]

Extravagance staggered to Xing she was racked with pain for some reason and her mind was weak. She felt the death of father the most because the feeling seered her like a final blade, the connection lost. It wasn't long until Extravagance was blacking out, swearing under her breath. There were no scars on her body, but they were all over her mind. She managed it to a hillside and plopped there, staring at the stars.

Let me in control please... Revel whispered. After all I deserve my own body...

Extravagance didn't object her own life meaningless.

Yuan had been quietly walking, having escaped his advisors. he had found Takegami's death strange, expecially after the odd promise he had made.
Kid, I'm as confused as you are, just keep walking. greed said softly in Yuan's head. He didn't disagree and kept walking toward the open fields and hillsides. his breath caught in his throat when he saw someone sitting on the hilltop.

Revel groaned her body was in so much pain, almost like thousands of knives ripping at her. She shuddered and tried to sit up, but couldn't. "ohhh.." She whined, closing her eyes.

Yuan increased his pace, heading up the hillto, that noiseless way of his gone in his dash. if it was her... please elt it be.....
"Revel?" he whispered.

Revel looked up at yuan weakly and smiled, "Yuan." She whispered a soft smile on her face. "I missed you.." she wanted to hug him, but couldn't move..

"I missed you to." Yuan said quietly, sinking to his knees next to revel, contemplating wether to hug her or not.

Revel answered the question for him, scooting up and lying her head on his stomach, wrapping her arms around him the best she coul.

Yuan slowly put his arms around her, picking her up and holding her close. "Revel... what's wrong with you?" he whispered softly, pressing his face into ehr hair.

Revel closed her eyes and kissed his throat. "Takegami cursed me... his presence was connected to mine and now that he's dead... the power Extravagance has is fading." She swallowed, forcing a smile, hoping that he wouldn't get it and wouldn't ask. It was the last thing she wanted to tell him...

"Revel... do you mean you're going to die?" Yuan asked after a moment, looking down at her with wide eyes, fear showing on his face.

Revel winced and looked away neither confirming nor denying. Her face showed true sorrow, she didn't want him to kknow. "Please don't be sad.." she whispered. The last thing she wanted to see ever was his smile. The last memory she wanted for whatever awaited for her on the other side.

"If you insist." Yuan murmered, forcinf amsile on his face as he hugged Revel closer, feeling a deep sense of helplessness at the fact that there was nothing he could do for her.

Revel enjoyed the sense of him holding her, smiling softly. "Thank you." She whispered and coughed violently covering her mouth as blood trickled down her chin. She tried to quickly wipe away the red before Yuan could see

"Revel. Please, tell me what's going on." Yuan asked in a cracked voice. he felt so utterly helpless at the moment. And Greed trying to console him by saying there were plenty of girls was not helping in the slightest.

Revel groaned and looked up, "There's not much to say... Extravagance is fading and without her.." She looked at him weakly. "Well.. there can be no me.."

[Yuan Yao/ Greed]

Yuan faught back tears. He didn't cry! But... now he felt a need to as his stomach flip-flopped. His mouth opened but he said nothing.
Kid, this is one thing we can't have. Never have. Get over it, there's so many more things you can have. Greed said in a soft tone, words uncomfoting.
"But..." Yuan choked, not finishing.

Revel sniffed and lied her head in his lap, looking up at him softly. She shakily took a hand and rested it on his cheek. "I love you.."

"Don't say that like you're saying good-bye." Yuan whispered, gingerly running his fingers through her hair.

Revel gave a small smile and closed her eyes. Her stomach throbbed slightly and she winced. She still had 11 lives... didn't she? She groaned, hoping she wouldn't lose all of them.

"Shh." Yuan tried to sooth, keeping down his own sad feelings.

Revel looked up with a soft smile. "Yuan.. you know I love you, right?" Her voice was a whisper in the air.

"I know Revel. I love you to." Yuan said, his voice cracking.

Revel stroked his cheek softly, watching him intently. She grimaced as his voice cracked, fighting back tear. "Yuan.. please don't cry.." she whispered again.

"For you Revel, I wont." Yuan chocked out, fighting back everything his body was begging to do. He had never acted human before, why start now?

Revel smiled weakly and leaned up, kissing his lips softly. "Good... I-I can't stand when you cry.." She suddenly groaned and closed her eyes. "So.. tired..."
