"You're Welcome. Well I better get started or else I will have to pull another all nighter, and I am just not ready for that." He smiled as he pushed in his chair. "I am sure I will see you around Kiri."

Kiri nodded and smiled, "Alright take care!" She gave a semi-salute. "If you ever need anything let me know."

"The same goes for you." Salus said over his soldier as he began to walk off. Salus thought to himself and smiled at Kiri and the events of the day. It was a good day, something that Salus hadn't had in a long time, at least since that fateful night that scarred his memory so. Salus exhaled as he left the cafeteria and begin the long walk back to his office.

Kiri sighed and cleared her tray, walking off in the opposite direction. She had been doing something before this, but now she needed to head home and feed her dog

Salus stood outside his office door, debating actually fulfilling his duty, or just running in the other direction. He sighed as he turned the knob, he flicked on the light half hoping the paperwork had vanished. No such luck. He walked over to his desk flipping on the radio. He pulled out his chair and sat down. The paperwork was going to take a while. Salus grabbed his pen and began to work through the mountain of paperwork. He signed what he needed to sign, intialled where it was required and worked through the paperwork. Time seemed to speed up as Salus finished his work. "Finally." Salus muttered to himself. He leaned back into his chair, propping his feet up and listening intently to the radio. He had hoped there would be some clue to his investigation, he hoped maybe the killer had struck again.
