"Fine."She said, but still smiled. Ilona then slowly drifted off to sleep and into her dreams...

Takegami laid down beside her, untill he heard her go to sleep. He smiled warmly, and wrapped his arm around her before he started wondering about the situation at hand. Would she allow him to stay with Matthias? Would she go with him to Eikyuu Gaka? Or would she leave him once more? It was all frustrating...

She snuggled againest Takegami, her murmuring merely whipsers. Ilona dreamt of her sons life: Hearing his first words, seeing him off to school and so forth and so on. Strangely, Takegami wasn't in the picture.....

Takegami awoke in the middle of the night from a nightmare, his eyes popping wide open. His breathing was normal, for nightmares still turned him on, but what he saw was something that scared him nonetheless. He got out of the bed quietly, hoping not to wake Ilona. He crept out of the bedroom, and shut the door slowly before leaning against the wall and sliding down it to the ground.

She woke up shortly after Takegami woke up. Ilona then tip toed to her son and stroked his hair, he was asleep and thank god, still healthy..She lightly kissed his forehead before creeping to the door, making sure Takegami is alright..
"Is everything alright honey..?"Ilona said, whispering.

Xan suddenly appeared at the Manor in a small flash of white light. He had finally found this place, after all of the informational searches through hell that he had been enduring for the past several months.

Not wanting to startle anyone, Xan walked past the front door and instead got in through a nearby window. And who else should he see but....

........

Xan couldn't even bring himself to speak. The baby was absolutely perfect in every aspect as far as Xan could tell.

Takegami could hear Ilona ask him a question, but before he could answer he vanished and appeared behind Xan, his blade pointed at the man's head. He was ready to kill him if he hadn't of recognized the scent that came off of the man. He sighed slightly, and slowly sheathed his sword, and walked off slowly, back outside to Ilona.

"I'm fine, i just need to be alone. You just get some rest, okay?"

She felt something wrong but not wanting to leave Matthias alone, siimply close the door. She gently lifted Matthias up and held him close, the bracelet of bells jingling gently...

Xan smiled at the baby, then suddenly he saw Take's blade in his face.

Not getting alarmed, Xan stopped smiling and winked when Take sheathed his katana.

Then, he stepped fully into the room with a full grin on his face, and bowed lightly.

Good evening, family of Sin and Virtue.

Takegami covered his face with his hands, feeling as if he was ready to fall apart. His body was weak, and his anger became uncontrollable.

"What is going on?"

[Guest]

She held Matthias close to him, feeling him stirring from his sleep. Ilona was ready to run, not from Xan or Takegami but to simply find a place where Matthias would be safe. She was in no condition to fight whatsoever.

Takegami calmed down and breathed before he stood up and walked back into the room. He saw Matthias and smiled warmly before walking over to Ilona and picking him up out of her hands. He kissed him on the forehead lightly and tickled his stomach with his finger.

"Your daddy's favorite boy, you know that? Hahaha."

[Guest]

Ilona stayed where she was, holding onto her IV stand tightly. Damn, I dont have my gloves with me...I won't be able to use alchemy like this..What to do.She instead watched Matthias and Takegami closely, like a lionness gaurding her cub.

Xan wondered for a while whether or not he should leave, then shrugged and sat down in a chair, ready to watch what happened with a slight glow radiating from his body.

Takegami looked over at Ilona, and she gave him a look that disturbed him. He no longer felt safe, as if he was surrounded, closed in a space where he would struggle in battle.

"Ilona, what is wrong?"

She shook awake and sighed, just grateful Takegami is pulling anything and gave a small smile.
"It's nothing..Really."Ilona then turned to Xan, giving him a questioning look.
"Xan, can I ask what you are doing here..?"Ilona leaned on Takegami as if to reasurre him.

Xan heard his name and looked at Ilona.

Can I help it if I want to see my little brother? He's a very beautiful baby, by the way. What did you name him?

Xan leaned into the chair, giving them both a look of pure amusement.

She tilted her head and then tickled Matthias. Hearing him laugh was like music to her ears.
"Matthias, after my late father.."Ilona said, smiling. Relieved that nothing serious is happening..

Takegami tickled the boy aswell, before he felt the boy's stomach growl. He looked around wondering if they had any bottles of milk anywhere.

"Well, maybe he'll atleast keep one of our figures..."

[Guest]

Ilona took Matthais out of his hands, walked to the other side of the room and started breat feeding Matthias. She rcradled him, singing a lulaby in Drachmanian...

Xan had to fight down a loud laugh at Take's comment. It felt a little strange seeing all of this, but not nearly as strange as it probably would look to anyone who happened to know of the past behind these three.

(No, I don't mean the sewer incident.)

Takegami sat down on the bed, and wished he had a cigarrette, but decided he'd stop so that the child didn't get any second hand smoke or take up the habit.

"You see Xan? This is what life is about once you have a child, finding a way to live peacefully. I thank you for helping me realise that."

Ilona watched Matthias once again doze off to sleep and lies him in the crib, the bracelet on his wrist jingling. So tired because of the birth, Ilona just fell flat on the bed of exhuastion.

Xan stood up and bowed again. I'm glad to have helped you realize the joys of living Takegami. Ironically, eight or nine months ago, you didn't believe me when I told you that what I did was for your own good. So tell me, what color are the boys' eyes? I'd like to know whose genes are stronger in him.

Sitting down again, Xan looked to Take, then to Ilona, then to Matthias with a curious look on his face. He hadn't seen the child up close yet, so he hadn't been able to tell.

Takegami stood up and walked over to the child and leaned against his crib, watching him sleep peacefully. He smiled warmly, his voice soft, and gentle, almost like a womans.

"Grey in one eye, crimson in the other..."
