"All of you, to the ship." Yuan ordered his men, accepting the long, slightly tattered, wine red trench coat offered to him by his adviser. Yuan put it on with a florish, not bothering to button it as he urged Bai toward Takegami. Yuan's eyes held anger, but he nodded politely to Xan before turning his steely gaze on Take. the young emporer said nothing, merely glowered at Takegami, having a feelign Takegami would know why he was so mad simply from the steak smell surrounding him from his burnt and cooked skin.

Takegami's eyes opened slightly, their azure color slowing brighter than Xan's, almost giving him a frozen aura. They were cold, and gave no sign of emotion, and Takegami just laid there silent. He then sighed and nudged so that his horse would move around Xan.

"If all i wanted was revenge, you'd be dead by now. My true intentions were to let the guard of Amestris down. It worked, i just got word that we seized the main camp of our most formidable foe. With the military pulling out of Aerugo, all will return to normal... The Imperial Family is safely in Aerugo, the people have calmed down from unrest, the Scherzo have fleed, and all that leaves is you and me. But, i suppose that after this ordeal, the last thing you want is an alliance with someone who would use you like i did. That is understandable, and i know that the next time we meet, it might not be pleasent. Take care of yourself, Xan."

Takegami's horse began trotting once more, with Takegami laying down on its back, holding his swords hilt tightly. He sighed and closed his eyes, starting to rest. What could he do? Peace was more important than chaos to him...

Final Chapter: A Golden Sky and a Blue Sea

Yuan was still glaring at Takegami. "Takegami! Don't think i shall be quick to forgive you! Twelve lives gone, only five left! The next time I see you, I doubt it shall be on friendly terms!" Yuan yelled after Takegami. Of course, Yuan would be back on Take's side faster than you can say 'speedo' if he was offered something of worth. It was sad really, how easily Yuan was manipulated. though at the moment, she just wanted some new pants and to stop smelling like Pride's bacon.

Xan stood as Take's horse went around him. He didn't even try to swing the light scythe. The battle had ended in their favor, the Scherzo were gone, Amestris had been humbled, he still had the majority of his elite troops, as only the Imperial troops had been doing the heavy fighting.

But....

Quicksilver had perished, Take had betrayed him, he had almost been killed multiple times, and for what? To restore peace to Aerugo?

Of course....

Xan had gotten what he had wanted. He was now Level Three, and the holy water no longer forced him to be 'good.' Although he had lost Quicksilver, he could gather its remains and create something powerful from them, and in the end, hadn't everything balanced itself out in the end?

The Cibolean King had chosen his next move, and his future path along with it.

Take, we will meet again, at the ceremony that will be thrown in your honor for defeating your brother and protecting the Imperial Family. See you there, ally.

Xan just accepted the outcome of the battle as equivalent exchange and shrugged. Then, with a small groan, he remembered something.

Take, I'm going to Creta to end this war completely. Are you coming with me?

Then, turning to Yao, Xan grinned and thanked him for his help.

Thanks for the help, but you might want to go take a nice, long bath right now.

Yuan made a sound close to a growl. "Your welcome Xan. And no need to point out that I smell like someone's dinner." Yuan said rather snapishly. He then seemed to rethink it. He sat up and made a sort of bowing motion to Xan."Xan. If you ever need anything, Xing is your ally." Yuan stated."And flying chimeras are well and good, but I recommend a horse as well. Look me up in Xing and I'm sure I can get you a deal on a wellbred horse." Yuan smirked, though he felt rather ticked that Take had ignored his veyr existance.

Takegami's horse, Kage Bara, stopped in its tracks, and Takegami looked back at Xan. He was surprised to see Xan had forgiven him, and simply nodded. He turned around and was about to leave, when Xan mentioned Takegami joining him in Aerugo. Takegami simply chuckled and gave Xan a peace sign with his hands.

"I'll race you there..."

Without looking back, Takegami's forces had boarded their ships and were already leaving the area, headed back to Eikyuu Gaka. Takegami, on the other hand, simply slapped his horses side, and the chimera horse took off into the skies with lightning speed. He put his peace sign down and grabbed his gourd of sake, sipping it lightly.

"Next stop, Creta."

Xan bowed to Yuan, feeling honored. He knew the significance of Yuan's words and actions, and wanted to show that he appreciated them.

Then, he had an idea.

Yuan, are you coming with us? It'll be fun to take Creta together don't you think?

The Cibolan elites were pulling back towards the ships to go home, but Xan would be racing to get to Creta before Take. With his new light powers, he might just be able to do it too....

All that he was waiting for was Yuan's answer, then he could get moving.

Yuan thought for a moment.

"Why not, Xan? It'll be fun." Yuan grinned. "Meet you there?" he asked with teasing smirk, knowing full well Xan was probably anxious to leave.

Xan grinned, thanked Yuan Yao, then used Zero Shift and disappeared. If anyone had bothered to look above the clouds, they would have seen a certain figure clad in glowing armor, heading west, to Creta.

Using advanced light control, Xan made the armor and wings glow even brighter, and shot off even faster, using a more powerful form of Zero Shift. Still grinning, Xan flew to the west with the rising sun behind him.

Creta, here I come!

Yuan grinned and nudged Bai. The horse turned and galloped off toward Yuan's ship. Unlike those two, Yuan had no fast transport form, but oh well. His ship would work fine, and Bai would help him.

"I'm not gonna lose this time." Yuan smirked.

A battle that began with constant silence tourned to that of a field of bloodshed and crying.
Brothers betrayed brothers, friends became enemies, family became no more.
All for the want of peace, four factions clashed, hoping to bring an end to a war that carried on for years.
Brothers standing tall, all to achieve peace turn on one another, just to seek their own personal goals.
Alliances fall into questions, and everyone begins to fight amongst each other during this time of chaos.
Through a battle of heart, brain, and muscle, the three brothers fought for dominance.
Each employing tactic after tactic in an attempt to bring this war to an end.
Lives were shed, friends were lost, families were split, and love was broken, as everyone became an enemy.
The three lords struggled with their own decisions, facing their innerselves.
Xan, the Lord of Cibola, struggled with the fact of facing a dear friend.
Yao, the Lord of Xing, struggled with being betrayed with losing him employer.
Takegami, the Lord of Eikyuu Gaka, struggled with himself, searching for a reason to end a war and cause another one.
One might ask how these three legends of chaos came to be, but there was only one answer for that question.
Why do you still live? because you were chosen to be spared.
The three lords challenged eachother, and all three came out on top.
They destroyed their enemies, along with themselves, and now seek to create havoc throughout some other land.
Their search for chaos in peace, will never end, untill all is lost.
And so the three lords ride off into the rising sun, all aiming for one goal...
To create chaos in this peaceful world, they would need to create a new hell.
And so the three set off on their paths together, all aiming to reach the end of the pathway.
They pierce through the stratus to the heavens
Through the deepest points of hell
And to the edge of the horizon.
But in the end only one will come out on top, and claim the land as their 'Hell'.
