Ilona, gathering her remain strength followed slowly, gripping her Helberd tightly. Truthfully, she wanted to get this over and done with.
"What a mess..."She said, sighing, walking in further into the darkness.

Takegami looked back at the man, his lustful azure eyes had reverted back to their crimson red color in seconds. However, this time they seemed to glow and glisten in the darkness of the sewers. He advanced forward once Xan had caught up, and began looking around for any sign of the beasts. He heard a bunch of ripping, clawing, and screeching from far away, and simply began to walk faster.

"What is your new master plan, Xan?"

Ilona, not being able to see in darkness, got lost within the sewers...
"Great."She sighed again, trying to retrace her steps in vain...

Xan grinned just a little, almost like a kid who was in the middle of pulling a prank. How did Takegami know that he was planning something?

Well Takegami, I am using this mission as a way to transcend my mortality and gain immense power, if that helps you at all.

Xan said this in a joking voice, so he wouldn't alarm the other alchemists, but he knew that Takegami would get the fact that he was deadly serious, and would probably know exactly what he was talking about...

Takegami's cold expression didn't change the slightest bit. He understood exactly what Xan meant, and simply chuckled lightly at what he said. Takegami looked back at the others, his plans falling into place aswell. Even though noone else could seem to hear it, Takegami could. Somebody's heart beat was racing faster than usuall, but who's was it? And Why? He asked himself this question untill a small beast leapt out at him.

Simply putting his hand up, the beast bit onto it, but no damage was done. Suddenly, Takegami opened his palm inside the creature's mouth, and it exploded.

"Another dead end.."
Ilona kicked the wall in frustration only to completely hurt her foot. She sat againest the wall, thinking what to do. She couldn't use alchemy in her weakened state and decided to rest until she is well enough to once again use alchemy.
"Heh..And here I am, I call myself a State Alchemist..."

Xan looked at the remains of the beast that Takegami exploded. Well, that is just vile.

Pretending to look disgusted, Xan clapped his hands and made a long spear rise out of the sewer ground. However many beast there were in this hell hole, Xan would kill them, if only to get to their blood.

Ilona then stood up again and clapped her hands together and placed them on the wall creating a door. Without hesitation, she walked in but had a feeling that something is watching her...

Katie walked through the sewer, looking around in the darkness.
Why was she here?
Well, probably because Takegami called her and she jumped at the chance to see either him or Ilona again...

"Hello?" She called, her voice ringing.
She looked ahead, squiting. Did she see someone she knew?
She got a little closer, and realized who it was.

"Ilona!" Katie started running towards the figure, and stopped in front of her, knowing it was her. "It's been awhile...hey, what are you doing down here?"

"Mission."She said smiling. The claw mark on her cheek still bleed and the gashing hole where the beast stab her shoulder still bleed dispite the piece of uniform wrapped around it.
"What are you doing here though..?"Ilona suddenly had an urge to get Katie out of this place but knowing her, she'll stay so Ilona decided to protect the girl.

Takegami ran ahead of Xan, not caring much for he knew the man could watch himself. Takegami stopped when he came to the center of the sewers which was like that of a clock tower. The creatures crawled through the gears, ran around fighting each other, and feasted on dead human bodies. It seemed ther military had missed nearly hundreds of killings, and only noticed three... they were losing their edge.

"Fresh meat..."

[Guest]

"Takegami called me to come down here." Katie replied, noticing Ilona's injuries.
"What happened to you? What've you been doing?" She asked, looking worried. She'd grown to get used to Ilona, and even trust her fairly well.
"What's going on down here?"

[Guest]

Xan caught up with Take and couldn't resist a smile....So many of the little vermin for Quicksilver to munch on, but first, Xan would need to have some fun with them.

Feeling generous, Xan let Take have the first kill.

By all means, go have your fun Take, I'll start after you do.

[Guest]

"A chimera was sighted within the sewers...But..We relieased that theres more, maybe hundreds more..."Ilona said, she looked at her wounds, which re no beginning to heal, thanks to Takegami.
"We better find Takegami and Xan.."Ilona held Kaite's hand, not wanting her out of her sight and walked to where she last saw Takegami..

Katie took Ilona's hand, following her.
"Xan's down here too? You all reported for this mission?" She sighed.
"Wait, chimeras?" She realized that she was called at the right time; even though she might not be able to help much, she could still help.
First of all, she would have to attend to Ilona's wounds.

[Guest]

"Yes, the chimera we killed was the mother...Her children are within the sewers..We have to exterminate them before they do anymore harm."Ilona walked in further and started to hear a faint sound. It sounds like machinery...
"C'mon.."She said, walking towards the source of the sound.

[Guest]

Takegami simply snapped his fingers, and suddenly the little buzzards exploded. The gears and such began to fall and squish those running around, and the ground caved in below them causing them to fall in a pit of never ending blackness. Takegami, who carried an emotionless expression, was acting calmly and had regained his composure. His lust to still blood through hard work was gone, he just decided that tactics were the way to go for this battle.

"Not smart, now there are none left for you."

Katie continued to follow.
"Ilona--you're injured! You shouldn't be going around like this..." She tried stopping, but Ilona just kept moving.
She started hearing the noise, as well. What was that sound...?
Since she was ignoring her, Katie just kept quiet, while being led by Ilona.

Ilona came to the scene, just in time to see Takegami take out all the chimera's. She sighed in relief, thinking that it is finally over. But she stood where she was, knowing that Takegami can be unpredictable..

Xan disintegrated the spear and pretended to look hurt by Take not sharing the kill with him.

Take, how could you not leave at least one of the nightmares for me?

Just out of boredom, and because he knew that no one was above this particular section of sewer, Xan clapped his hands and touched a wall, sending up a wave of destruction that brought down the ceiling in a heap over the dead monsters.

At least they get a good burial.

Xan put on his shades as the light from the sun came through the new hole in the ceiling.

Takegami too followed Xan's actions and snapped his fingers causing the walls to explode and bury the creatures. He then placed his sunglasses over his face aswell before he fell to his knee and coughed up blood. He started to breathe slightly heavier, but his face remained cold and emotionless.

Ilona dropped her Helberd and ran towards Takegami, putting her arm around him.
"You okay..?"She said, ripping another bit of her uniform and wiping the blood from Takegami's mouth.

Xan noticed Take coughing up blood, and looked at Ilona. Well? I have no healing expertise, but I'm sure that you and Katie can do something between the two of you, and make it quick, if you don't mind. I'm pretty sure that where there are babies and a mother, there is probably a father.

Then Xan stopped to think about the definition of irony.

Katie noticed both Takegami and Xan, and just as she was about to run to Takegami, Ilona beat her to it.

She didn't even bother doing what she was planning on doing. She admitted, only to herself, that she still was jealous of Ilona, because she's been feeling very left out.
She sighed, and decided to walk up to both Take and Xan, after hearing her name. "Hey, Takegami. Xan. Nice to see you both again...And yeah, I'm sure I can come up with something to help."

Ilona flinched at Xan's words, placing her hand on her stomach. It's been a month and now she is sure that she is...Ilona shook the thought out of her head. There are more important things..
